OUR GOAL
To provide an A-to-Z e-commerce logistics solution that would complete Amazon fulfillment network in the European Union.
Amazon YXU1, located in London, Ontario, is one of Canada’s most advanced logistics hubs, designed to handle millions of items and support the rapid delivery expectations of Ontario’s Prime members. This facility plays a pivotal role in Amazon’s Canadian expansion, acting as a high-velocity engine for both small sortable goods and larger consumer items. For international sellers, YXU1 is a common destination for bulk imports, but its strict inbound gates leave no room for error.
Amazon YXU1 at a Glance
To achieve a smooth receiving process at YXU1, it is critical to align your logistics with these localized Ontario standards. Adhering to these specific operational parameters is the only way to ensure your inventory transitions from the arrival dock to the warehouse shelves without safety rejections or administrative holds.

Deep Sea Imports:Freight typically enters via Port of Montreal or Port of Halifax; all ocean containers must be palletized to Canadian standards before arriving at the YXU1 gate.
Notice Period: Appointments must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
Strategic Location
The strategic value of YXU1 lies in its location along the Highway 401 corridor, the busiest transport artery in North America. By positioning stock in London, sellers gain a logistical "sweet spot" halfway between Toronto and the US border at Detroit/Windsor. This allows for rapid fulfillment to over 10 million people within a few hours' drive. For European exporters, YXU1 acts as a powerful inland terminal that bypasses the congestion of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) while still providing next-day access to it. Success depends on the durability of your packaging; the long overland transit from the East Coast ports to London demands superior bracing. Ensuring your pallets are professionally audited in a European hub prevents damage during this final, high-speed leg of the journey.
Operational Specifications for YXU1
To maintain a high-velocity supply chain at YXU1, it is critical that your cargo strictly adheres to these localized Canadian benchmarks. Aligning your load configuration with these specific parameters is the only way to avoid administrative bottlenecks and ensure immediate induction into the London facility. For a strategic overview of how these Ontario mandates compare to other international hubs, you can consult our Amazon Fulfillment Centers guide, which offers a detailed side-by-side analysis of global inbound regulations.

For Europe-bound Amazon inventory…
Establishing a foothold in the Ontario market is a major achievement, but maintaining a high-performance supply chain within the European Union requires a distinct set of logistical maneuvers. Because FLEX. operates as a specialized European infrastructure partner, we provide the localized expertise necessary to ensure your EU operations mirror the precision of your Canadian expansion. To guarantee that your European inventory adheres to the same rigorous standards as your YXU1-bound cargo, consider these strategic services:
The physical accuracy required for the Canadian market—specifically regarding GMA pallet grading and strict height auditing—is just as vital when entering European fulfillment centers. Through our Amazon FBA prep in Europe, we act as your primary line of defense, verifying that every unit is labeled and palletized correctly before it enters the Amazon network. If your European business model involves high-velocity sales or complex bundles, our kitting and assembly solutions allow you to customize your product offerings at the European origin, ensuring your customers receive professional, market-ready packaging.
Furthermore, managing the flow of international goods requires more than just physical handling. We provide specialized forwarding to FBA to navigate the nuances of European transit, ensuring your inventory is positioned in the most strategic hubs for maximum reach. By aligning your logistics at the European source, you eliminate the administrative bottlenecks and costly rejections that can stall your global growth.

How FLEX. can help
It is vital to clarify that FLEX. operates exclusively within the European logistics landscape; we do not manage physical warehouses or courier fleets on the ground in Canada. Instead, we function as your dedicated "pre-flight" compliance engine, providing the essential European infrastructure to bulletproof your shipments before they ever leave for the Atlantic. Should your Ontario-bound strategy demand a partner for professional logistics for Amazon sellers or a dedicated export staging zone, our facilities are tailor-made for these complexities. We focus on auditing every pallet and carton to match Amazon Canada’s rigorous safety, labeling, and height mandates while your goods are still in Europe, effectively shielding your brand from the financial sting of a rejection at the YXU1 gate.
Contact our team today to learn how our European-based expertise can provide the stable logistical footing your business needs to thrive in London and the wider Canadian market.
