Tracking Updates: The Psychology of “Out for Delivery”
30.11.2025
OUR GOAL
To provide an A-to-Z e-commerce logistics solution that would complete Amazon fulfillment network in the European Union.
VJUN historically served as a dedicated JP FBA Small and Light (SnL) inbound site for the Greater Tokyo / Kanto region. Today, SnL shipments are normally routed to standard Amazon fulfillment centers, but VJUN’s address still appears in some forwarder tools and historical documentation. Our role is to help you keep deliveries appointment-clean: correct labels, compliant pallets, and accurate paperwork—so freight is received without delays wherever Amazon ultimately assigns your shipment. Located within the GLP Yoshimi logistics facility in Yoshimi-machi (Hiki-gun, Saitama), close to major expressways around Tokyo, the site is part of a modern distribution hub serving the Kanto freight corridor.
Amazon VJUN at a Glance
FC Code: VJUN
Full Address: Amazon.co.jp VJUN FBA入庫係, 480 Nishi-Yoshimi, GLP Yoshimi, Yoshimi-machi, Hiki-gun, Saitama 355-0157, Japan
Booking System: Amazon Carrier Central / Seller Central (historically a dedicated Small & Light destination; current SnL shipments are auto-routed to regular FBA FCs shown in your shipping plan)
GLN Code: Not publicly disclosed for Japanese FCs
Pallet Exchange: Not specified (confirm during appointment request)
Deep Sea Imports: Typically yes, when requested at the time of booking and routed via deconsolidated LCL/FCL truck moves from Japanese seaports and airports (for VJUN, commonly via Tokyo/Kanto gateways). Live ocean containers are normally stripped upstream into domestic trucks; always confirm the exact process with your forwarder and Amazon prior to booking.
Slip Sheet Unloading: Not specified (confirm during appointment request)
Strategic Location
VJUN is located inside GLP Yoshimi, a large multi-storey logistics facility in Yoshimi-machi, Hiki-gun, Saitama Prefecture, within the Greater Tokyo catchment area. The park sits within roughly 50 km of central Tokyo, with convenient access to the Ken-O Expressway, Kan-Etsu Expressway, and National Route 254. This positioning allows efficient truck connections to the wider Kanto region and beyond, supporting same-day or next-day transfers between ports, airports, and inland hubs. The GLP Yoshimi building is a modern, high-bay warehouse complex designed specifically for intensive logistics operations, which makes it well-suited to the high-turnover, high-SKU nature of Small and Light and similar programs.
Operational Specifications for VJUN
Booking and Hours
Appointments:
Historically: Required via Carrier Central when VJUN was shown as the ship-to destination for SnL shipments.
Currently: SnL shipping plans created in Seller Central are automatically directed to standard FBA FC codes (such as NGO2, HND3, KIX4, NRT5). Always follow the FC code and address displayed in your active shipping plan, not older VJUN labels.
Operating Window:
Multi-shift operation within GLP Yoshimi; exact dock receiving hours for VJUN are not publicly specified.
Treat the time window in your confirmed Carrier Central appointment (or the current FC’s rules)as the definitive source for receiving hours.
Receiving Hours
By appointment only (local Japan Standard Time – JST, no daylight saving).
For historic VJUN-directed flows, standard Japan FBA practice is daytime receiving with limited evening capacity; however, because current SnL shipments are re-routed to regular FCs, always rely on the receiving hours of the FC shown in Seller Central.
Vehicle Requirements
Active carrier profile and a confirmed appointment (for historical VJUN flows or for any future use as directed by Amazon).
Dock-high, rear unloading at GLP Yoshimi’s standard bays; side-only unloading is generally not supported for FBA inbound.
Typical inbound equipment for Japan Amazon sites in the Kanto region:
2 t / 4 t box trucks for regional and suburban runs
10 t box or wing-body trucks for trunk routes and port/airport transfers
Container chassis and rail containers are usually unloaded and deconsolidated off-site, not at the FBA dock.
Vehicles should normally meet standard Japanese dock geometry:
Dock height around 1,000 mm
Truck bed height in the 900–1,100 mm range for a comfortable interface with dock and equipment
Enclosed, weather-tight cargo body, clean and free from debris, with secure doors
Yard & safety expectations (based on common Amazon Japan / “Kyotsu” driver guidelines):
Follow posted one-way traffic patterns and speed limits inside the logistics park
Use designated waiting areas rather than public streets; early arrivals may be asked to wait until their slot
When parked at the dock, apply parking brake, use wheel chocks, stop the engine, and follow staff instructions
Drivers are generally expected to assist with or perform unloading to the designated conveyor or staging area, while keeping aisles clear and obeying all safety signage.
Cargo Preparation
Pallets:
Use Japanese T11 standard pallets (approx. 1,100 mm × 1,100 mm, four-way entry), the dominant domestic pallet size in Japan.
Wooden or plastic T11 pallets are widely accepted; many shippers choose plastic pallets for higher hygiene and durability, especially for small, fast-moving items.
As a conservative guideline, keep pallet height around ≤1.6–1.8 m including the pallet and gross pallet weight around ≤1,000 kg, unless Amazon or your carrier specify otherwise.
Box & Pallet Labels:
Each carton requires its own FBA Box ID label generated for the Japan marketplace in Seller Central.
For parcel-carrier flows (Yamato, Sagawa, Japan Post, etc.), place the FBA Box ID and carrier label together on a flat face of the carton—never across seams, straps, or corners—so scanners can read both easily.
Each pallet requires four FBA pallet labels (one on each side), applied outside the stretch wrap and kept unobstructed.
Wrapping & Stability:
Build stable, cubic loads with no overhang beyond pallet edges.
Use clear stretch wrap with even tension, anchored securely to the pallet base; fully secure film tails.
Apply corner boards, strapping/banding, and layer pads where needed so that loads remain stable during linehaul, ramp/elevator moves inside GLP Yoshimi, and dock handling.
Floor-Loaded / FCL:
When shipping to Japan for later delivery to Amazon FCs (whether historically to VJUN or now to other codes), follow the Japan FBA shipping and routing requirements for floor-loaded cargo: carton weight limits, stacking patterns, and safe manual unloading.
In practice, most international SnL flows are deconsolidated and palletised at a nearby 3PL or cross-dock facility before final delivery to the FC indicated in your shipping plan. Any floor-loaded proposal should be validated against the most recent Amazon Japan inbound manual.
Slip Sheets:
Only use slip sheets where explicitly permitted in current Amazon Japan guidance and confirmed in appointment notes. If this is not clearly documented, plan to deliver on standard T11 pallets.
