Cargo Preparation
Pallets (U.S. standard):
Use 40" × 48", 4-way access wooden pallets
Avoid broken, non-standard or unstable pallets that may be reworked or refused
Box & Pallet Labels:
Each carton requires a unique FBA Box ID label generated from your shipment plan
Each pallet requires four FBA pallet labels (one per side), applied on the outside of the stretch wrap, upright and fully scannable
Wrapping & Stability:
Wrap with clear stretch film so all labels remain visible
No product overhang beyond the pallet footprint
Stack cartons evenly with heavier units at the bottom; use corner boards/straps where needed to prevent shifting
Floor-Loaded / FCL:
Floor-loaded containers and trailers must follow Amazon’s Floor Loading Policy (limits on weight, stack height, and mixed-SKU loading)
Clearly communicate any floor-loaded inbound in your booking notes so unloading resources can be planned at STL3
Slip Sheets:
Only where permitted by Amazon guidance and explicitly confirmed in your Carrier Central appointment notes; otherwise plan for standard palletized unloading
