OUR GOAL
To provide an A-to-Z e-commerce logistics solution that would complete Amazon fulfillment network in the European Union.
NRT5 serves Kawagoe City, the wider Saitama Prefecture, and the Greater Tokyo / Kanto region with high-volume inbound processing and replenishment, focused on fashion and softlines. Our role is to make deliveries appointment-clean: correct labels, compliant pallets, and accurate paperwork—so freight is received without delays. Located inside the Landport Kawagoe logistics facility in Minamidai, close to National Route 16 and the Kan-Etsu Expressway Kawagoe IC, the site supports dependable parcel flows and scheduled linehauls across the Tokyo metropolitan area and beyond.

Strategic Location
NRT5 is housed in the Landport Kawagoe multi-storey logistics complex at Minamidai 1-10-15 in Kawagoe. The park lies about 2.5–3.5 km from the Kan-Etsu Expressway Kawagoe Interchange and roughly 600 m from National Route 16, giving carriers fast north–south access around Greater Tokyo and into wider Kanto and central Japan. The district is zoned as an industrial/logistics cluster, with high-bay buildings, ramp access, and high-floor-load docks designed for intensive e-commerce operations. Nearby Seibu Shinjuku Line stations (such as Minami-Otsuka and Shinsayama) support labour access and shuttle-bus services, underpinning the multi-shift operation that keeps NRT5’s fashion flows moving predictably.

Site circulation is one-way, counter-clockwise; entry via the north gate only, exit via the east gate only
Waiting on surrounding public roads is prohibited—use the on-site shared waiting areas and designated large-vehicle parking zones
On arrival, drivers:
Enter through the north gate and stop at the vehicle reception box to log entry details
Receive an entry permit and move to the waiting area until instructed to approach a dock
Once at the dock:
Set the parking brake, place wheel chocks, stop the engine, and hand the vehicle key to the Amazon representative
Follow all instructions from yard and dock staff; do not operate dock doors, levelers, or forklifts
Movement on foot must follow marked pedestrian routes and stairs; mobile phone use while driving in the yard is restricted by site policy.
Cargo Preparation
Pallets:
Use Japanese T11 standard pallets (approx. 1,100 mm × 1,100 mm, four-way entry), which are the standard domestic pallet size in Japan.
Both wooden and plastic T11 pallets are widely used; for fashion items many shippers prefer clean plastic pallets compatible with hand-lifts and dock equipment.
As a planning guideline, keep pallet weight around 1,000 kg or less and pallet height around ≤1.6–1.8 m including the pallet, comfortably within the 280 cm interior limit and typical safety practices at Japanese FCs.
Box & Pallet Labels:
Each carton requires a unique FBA Box ID label generated in Seller Central (.co.jp).
For partnered small-parcel carriers (Yamato, Sagawa, Japan Post, etc.), place the FBA Box ID and carrier label together on a flat face of the carton—never over corners or across seams—so both barcodes are easy to scan.
Each pallet requires four FBA pallet labels (one per side), applied outside the stretch wrap, upright and unobstructed for scanning from ground level.
Wrapping & Stability:
Wrap pallets with clear stretch film using even tension; build stable, cubic loads with no overhangbeyond pallet edges.
Anchor wrap securely to the pallet base and fully secure film tails.
Use corner boards, strap/banding, and layer pads where needed so that fashion cartons remain stable during linehaul, staging, and dock handling at NRT5.
Floor-Loaded / FCL:
For containers or trucks delivered floor-loaded, follow the current Amazon Japan shipping and routing requirements on carton weight, stack stability, and safe unloading.
In practice, most import flows for NRT5 are deconsolidated and palletised at upstream facilities (near ports or inland depots) before arrival. Any floor- or fluid-loaded solution must be explicitly acceptable under the latest inbound manuals and clearly documented in Carrier Central notes. Non-compliant or unsafe loads may be delayed, reworked at the shipper’s cost, or refused at receiving.
Slip Sheets:
Only use slip sheets where specifically allowed under current Amazon Japan guidance and confirmed in your appointment details. If there is no explicit approval, plan to deliver on compliant T11 pallets into NRT5.
