OUR GOAL
To provide an A-to-Z e-commerce logistics solution that would complete Amazon fulfillment network in the European Union.
MEL1 serves Dandenong South, the greater Melbourne metropolitan area, and much of Victoria’s south-eastern corridor with fast inbound processing and network replenishment. Our role is to make deliveries appointment-clean: correct labels, compliant pallets, and accurate paperwork—so freight is received without delays. Located on National Drive in the Dandenong South industrial precinct, close to the South Gippsland Highway, South Gippsland Freeway, and the Monash Freeway (M1), the site supports dependable parcel flows and LTL/TL linehauls across Victoria and into other eastern Australian states.
Amazon MEL1 at a Glance
FC Code: MEL1
Full Address: 1–29 National Dr, Dandenong South VIC 3175, Australia
Booking System: Amazon Carrier Central (appointments required)
GLN Code: Not publicly disclosed for Australian FCs
Pallet Exchange: No on-site pallet exchange. Amazon Australia does not return or swap pallets; CHEP/Loscam transfers must be handled via your pooling agreement and electronic dockets (confirm details during appointment request).
Deep Sea Imports: Typically yes, when requested at the time of booking and handled via deconsolidated LTL/FTL moves from the Port of Melbourne and other Australian ocean and rail gateways. Live containers are normally unpacked upstream into trailers; always confirm the exact process with your carrier and Amazon prior to the appointment.

Strategic Location
MEL1 is positioned within the Dandenong South logistics hub, one of Melbourne’s key industrial corridors serving both metropolitan and regional freight. From National Drive, carriers can quickly reach the South Gippsland Highway and South Gippsland Freeway, with onward connections to the Monash Freeway (M1) and wider Melbourne freeway network. This gives direct access to the Port of Melbourne, major consumer areas across the south-east, and linehaul routes toward Gippsland, the Mornington Peninsula, and interstate corridors, supporting predictable appointments and efficient dock turns.

Dock-high, rear unloading at a standard bay (no side or ground-level unloading)
Typical inbound equipment by appointment: Australian semi-trailers and B-doubles with palletised freight, plus rigid trucks and commercial vans for smaller domestic replenishment where suitable
Private cars/utes are not accepted for ad-hoc seller drop-offs; deliveries must follow commercial freight and security procedures
Driver presents BOL/manifest, packing list, and appointment reference at check-in, then follows yard routing and parking instructions
Compliance with on-site safety and yard rules: high-visibility PPE and safety footwear where required, adherence to posted speed limits, correct chocking and reversing practices, use of designated staging areas, and full cooperation with security and WHS staffs.
Cargo Preparation
Pallets:
Australian standard wooden pallets (1165 mm × 1165 mm) are preferred for domestic freight into MEL1.
ISO-type wooden pallets (for example 1200 mm × 1000 mm / 40" × 48") may be accepted, particularly for import freight, but may be repalletised onto Australian standard pallets in the supply chain.
Only solid wooden pallets in good condition are accepted. Plastic pallets, skids, cardboard or particle-board pallets are not acceptable and risk rejection.
Recommended maximum pallet weight around 1,000 kg, with maximum pallet height 1.8 m including the pallet base. Loads exceeding these limits may be refused on safety grounds.
Box & Pallet Labels:
Each carton requires a unique FBA Box ID label generated in Seller Central (.com.au)
Each pallet requires four FBA pallet labels (one per side), applied outside the stretch wrap, upright, unobstructed, and scannable from ground level
Wrapping & Stability: Clear stretch wrap with firm, even tension; stable, cubic loads with no overhangbeyond pallet edges. Wrap should be anchored to the top 30–50% of the pallet base, with tails fully secured. Use corner boards, strapping, and layer pads where needed so that pallets remain stable during linehaul and dock handling.
Floor-Loaded / FCL: Follow the Amazon Australia Inbound Carrier Manual for floor- and fluid-loaded equipment. Some Australian FCs accept fluid containers under specific conditions, while others require palletised freight only. Treat MEL1 as a pallet-first site and confirm in advance via Carrier Central notes and carrier guidance if any floor-/fluid-loaded solution is being considered. Non-compliant or unsafe loads may be delayed, reworked at the shipper’s cost, or rejected.
Slip Sheets: Only where explicitly permitted by current Amazon Australia guidance and confirmed in the Carrier Central appointment notes. If slip-sheet handling has not been clearly approved, plan to deliver on compliant wooden pallets.
