The surrounding area contains major distribution centers, manufacturing sites and motorsports-related logistics near Concord Mills and Charlotte Motor Speedway, while remaining within trucking distance of Charlotte Douglas International Airport and regional rail and intermodal facilities. This combination of interstate access and regional demand density allows carriers to integrate CLT3 into long-haul FTL, regional LTL and FCL routings while keeping Carrier Central appointments and dock turns predictable.

Cargo Preparation
Pallets (U.S. standard):
Use 40" × 48", 4-way access wooden pallets suitable for non-sort / bulky and mixed-case handling
Avoid damaged, non-standard, or unstable pallets that may require rework or be refused at receiving
Box & Pallet Labels:
Each carton requires a unique FBA Box ID label generated from your Amazon shipment plan
Each pallet requires four FBA pallet labels (one per side), applied on the outside of the stretch wrap, upright and fully scannable
Wrapping & Stability:
Wrap pallets with clear stretch film so labels remain visible and unobstructed
No product overhang beyond the pallet footprint
Stack cartons evenly with heavier units at the bottom; use corner boards and strapping/banding where needed to keep loads stable in transit and during unloading
Floor-Loaded / FCL:
Floor-loaded containers and trailers must follow Amazon’s Floor Loading Policy, including guidance on stack height, carton weight, and mixed-SKU loading
Clearly describe any floor-loaded inbound in your Carrier Central booking so CLT3 can plan appropriate labor and unloading equipment and avoid dock delays
Slip Sheets:
Only use slip sheets where permitted by Amazon guidance and explicitly confirmed in your appointment notes; otherwise plan for standard palletized unloading
