OUR GOAL
To provide an A-to-Z e-commerce logistics solution that would complete Amazon fulfillment network in the European Union.
Amazon CAI6 is a cornerstone of the Amazon Egypt network, serving as a high-capacity fulfillment hub for the Cairo metropolitan area and beyond. Located in the heart of Egypt’s industrial corridor, this facility is designed to handle a vast array of consumer goods, from electronics to fashion. For sellers operating from European hubs, CAI6 presents a unique set of logistical challenges, including strict adherence to Egyptian customs protocols and specific palletization rules.

For European exporters, CAI6 is the primary gateway to the North African market, benefiting from its proximity to major transit arteries that connect the Cairo Ring Road to the Mediterranean ports of Alexandria and Port Said.

Pre-Dispatch Requirements for CAI6
Success in the Egyptian market depends on the work done at the point of origin. Because FLEX. operates exclusively in Europe, we focus on the "pre-export" phase, where compliance is most easily managed. To protect your Cairo-bound supply chain, consider these checkpoints:
EPAL Compliance Audit: Egypt is strict about pallet types. Verifying that your goods are transferred from standard EU pallets to the required 1200 mm x 1000 mm EPAL while still in a European hub prevents a total rejection at the CAI6 dock.
Documentation Synchronization: Egyptian customs are rigorous. Ensuring your commercial invoices, packing lists, and FBA labels match your physical cargo before it leaves Europe is essential to avoid lengthy port delays.
Strategic Staging in Europe: By utilizing a European warehouse as a staging area, you can consolidate your inventory and release batch-verified, Egyptian-compliant shipments only when your export paperwork is finalized.
Weight Threshold Verification: With a 1000 kg limit per pallet and a 15 kg limit for multi-unit boxes, precision is key. Auditing these weights in a European facility ensures your shipment complies with the specific health and safety rules of the Cairo facility.
Expanding from Europe to North Africa requires a clear understanding of how different regional hubs interact. You can consult our Amazon Fulfillment Centers directory to compare the specific inbound requirements of CAI6 with other global facilities, ensuring your international routing is optimized for speed and compliance.
