OUR GOAL
To provide an A-to-Z e-commerce logistics solution that would complete Amazon fulfillment network in the European Union.
Amazon AUH1 is the first and most advanced fulfillment center in Abu Dhabi, launched in late 2025 as a landmark partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO). Located in the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), this massive facility boasts a storage capacity of up to 8 million units across 30 different categories. As a centerpiece of the UAE’s digital economy, AUH1 utilizes cutting-edge automation and an on-site Innovation Lab to achieve same-day delivery speeds.

Booking System: All inbound shipments must be scheduled via Amazon Carrier Central (UAE).
GLN Code: Not publicly disclosed.
Pallet Exchange: No pallet exchange available.
Slip Sheet Unloading: Not standard; requires explicit authorization during the appointment request.
Deep Sea Imports: AUH1 serves as a major inland destination for freight arriving via UAE ports; all cargo must be fully deconsolidated and customs-cleared before reaching the facility.
Notice Period: Appointments must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
Strategic Location
The placement of AUH1 within KEZAD (Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi) offers sellers a unique logistical advantage. This zone is designed for seamless trade facilitation, backed by advanced data analytics and automated customs services. For European exporters, this means that once your cargo reaches the UAE, the transition to the AUH1 dock is highly optimized. However, the speed of the KEZAD network assumes that all incoming freight is pre-screened and perfectly labeled. Any error in palletization or documentation discovered at this stage can stall your entire Middle Eastern supply chain, making the quality of your European outbound preparation critical.
Operational Specifications for AUH1
To align with Amazon’s automation and safety standards in Abu Dhabi, all inbound freight must strictly adhere to the following marketplace requirements:
Booking and Hours
Booking System: All deliveries must be scheduled via Amazon Carrier Central (UAE).
Receiving Windows: Standard operations run from 08:00 to 18:00.
Appointment Policy: Carriers must supply evidence of drop-off, including a time stamp and an Amazon employee's signature.

Vehicle Requirements
Authorized Vehicles: Deliveries must be made on a 7.5 t vehicle or larger with a reinforced floor.
Rear Loading: The vehicle must be capable of reversing into a loading bay door to allow PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) access to the rear.

Clearance: Maintain a minimum of 30 cm clearance between the top of the pallets and the vehicle roof, and 30 cm between the last pallet and the rear of the vehicle.
Safety: It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle is clear of obstructions (e.g., loose strapping) that could damage Amazon equipment.
Cargo Preparation
- Pallets:
Dimensions: Use 1.0 m x 1.2 m, 4-way access, wooden pallets (Larger pallets allowed only if a single unit exceeds standard dimensions without overhang).

Pre-Export Staging for the AUH1 KEZAD Hub
Because AUH1 operates with such high levels of automation—including analytics-driven processes that reduce lead times by nearly 60%—there is zero margin for manual error at the receiving dock. For sellers managing their supply chain from Europe, success depends on these essential origin-side checkpoints:
Digital Compliance Verification: Documentation discrepancies are the primary cause of rejection. Confirming that your commercial invoices and TRN details align with your physical European pallet builds prevents your cargo from being held at Abu Dhabi Customs.
Automated Sortation Compatibility: AUH1’s systems rely on scannable, correctly placed labels. Ensuring that every carton is within the 63.5 cm limit and that labels are placed away from seams while still in Europe guarantees that your stock enters the 8-million-unit inventory pool without delay.
Strategic Staging in Europe: Since FLEX. operates exclusively in Europe, we provide a vital "pre-clearance" environment. By staging your inventory in a European warehouse, you can audit your stock for UAE compliance and release batches to Abu Dhabi only when they are 100% ready for the KEZAD network.
Network Integration: Scaling into the UAE’s capital requires a coordinated effort. Use our Amazon Fulfillment Centers guide to align your European outbound strategy with the specific inbound protocols of the AUH1 facility.

How FLEX. can help
FLEX. acts as your strategic partner within the European logistics landscape, operating high-performance hubs across Poland, Germany and France. We do not provide local services in Abu Dhabi; instead, we ensure that your inventory is technically perfect before it ever leaves European soil.
If your business requires a reliable European partner for import / export customs clearance for online sellers, secure buffering of stock, or professional staging before international transit, our facilities are equipped to handle the heavy lifting. We bridge the gap between your European origin and the Abu Dhabi market by ensuring every pallet is configured to the exact standards of the AUH1 facility, significantly reducing your risk of costly rejections or delays in the UAE.
