OUR GOAL
To provide an A-to-Z e-commerce logistics solution that would complete Amazon fulfillment network in the European Union.
AKC1 serves Akron, the greater Cleveland–Akron–Canton corridor, and wider Northeast Ohio as a large, robotics-enabled sortable fulfillment center handling small and medium-sized consumer items. Our role is to make deliveries appointment-clean: correct labels, compliant pallets, and accurate paperwork—so freight is received without delays. Located on Romig Road at the redeveloped former Rolling Acres Mall site, near key access points to Interstate 76, Interstate 77, and US-224, the facility supports dependable parcel flows and LTL/TL linehauls across Ohio, the Great Lakes region, and neighboring states.

Strategic Location
AKC1 is positioned on Romig Road in southwest Akron (Summit County) on the site of the former Rolling Acres Mall, now redeveloped as a modern logistics hub. The upgraded Romig Road corridor provides direct truck access to the Akron beltway, with connections to I-76 and US-224 to the south and I-77 to the north. This places the facility on key east–west and north–south freight routes linking Cleveland, Canton, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Detroit, and the broader Great Lakes region.
The surrounding area has been redesigned specifically to handle higher truck volumes, with improved road geometry, signaling, and drainage, helping carriers maintain predictable Carrier Central appointments, safe approaches, and efficient dock turns even during peak season.

Cargo Preparation
Pallets (U.S. standard):
Use 40" × 48", 4-way access wooden pallets compatible with robotics / sortable handling
Avoid damaged, non-standard, or unstable pallets that may require rework or be refused at receiving
Box & Pallet Labels:
Each carton requires a unique FBA Box ID label generated from your Amazon shipment plan
Each pallet requires four FBA pallet labels (one per side), applied on the outside of the stretch wrap, upright and fully scannable at the dock
Wrapping & Stability:
Wrap pallets with clear stretch film so labels remain visible and unobstructed
No product overhang beyond the pallet footprint
Stack cartons evenly with heavier units at the bottom; use corner boards and strapping/banding where needed to keep loads stable during transit and unloading
Floor-Loaded / FCL:
Floor-loaded containers and trailers must follow Amazon’s Floor Loading Policy, including limits on stack height, carton weight, and mixed-SKU loading
Clearly describe any floor-loaded inbound in your Carrier Central booking so AKC1 can plan appropriate labor, PIT, and dock time and avoid delays
Slip Sheets:
Only use slip sheets where permitted by Amazon guidance and explicitly confirmed in your appointment notes; otherwise plan for standard palletized unloading
